Gyro House Mediterranean Cafe is rated 4.7 out of 5 stars, based on 147 reviews!
Our team of 20 enjoyed our lunch from Gyro House today! The chicken, beef, and lamb were all spiced perfectly. The rice, salad, and hummus were delicious. The tzatziki was so good, folks wanted some to take home! People went back for seconds and thirds which never happens in our group!
We chose to pick-up our order rather than have it delivered; it was ready right on time and still piping hot when we opened up the serving pans for lunch.
I had never eaten there before but will become a regular now - well done!
Having had just returned from a summer trip to the Middle East, and driv9ng around Everett looking for a meal, I spotted
I always got a delicious, fresh food! Really love this place the staff very friendly and helpful! They are so clean. Very recommend +++++
This place is amazing. The staff is extremely energetic and happy with their job, they take care of you if you take care of them. The food is good and is worth its price, it's not to pricey. 8/10 for overall esthetic. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a gyro, also the baklava is?.
This place is awesome. Had the Gyro Salad. By far the best around. Highly recommend this place.
Was feeling lazy so we ordered up a couple of gyros. Messy but delicious as any good gyro should be. Our delivery driver was very friendly to boot.
Friendly waiters and simple little diner to have lunch with a friend ? Very good food and a clean building.
So so good. I had never been here before but will definitely be back after my experience here. Delicious gyros with big portions. Baklava and other deserts. Every staff member was kind and helpful. We stayed and got second portions. If you like gyros you will love it here!
My family go there almost every Saturday,, the meat really tasty and the falafel is amazing and a wonderful meal for the vegetarians people. If you go there and get confused just ask Marwan very friendly and he would love to help his customers. Every time we go there it seems better to us. Healthy, delicious and fair deals. Keep it up guys!!!!!
The food taste dilicous . Great customers service. I highly recommend this restaurants.
Great food, great service, great prices ! My whole family loves this place !
Good food and service, big portions that are reasonably priced. Arguably the best gyros around.
Fantastic place. Always fresh and wonderfully tasty
Awsome!! New favorite...
I order the chicken schwarma plate. This is what I got. Was it delicious? Yep.
amazing,it's the best mediterranean food I ever had.so yamy
This place is awesome! I had Turkish food when I was in Germany and got hooked. This place is clean, and even though our server is new, she still knew her stuff and was friendly and professional. I appreciate that because it means they know how to train new people. I would def recommend this place to others, but I myself am bias and love Greek gyros more. They also have a minivan which I assume they use for deliveries.
They're gyros are very good and messy, but the pizza is a little under done yet still delicious.
They're services are friendly and fairly quick to make your meals.
Best falafel I've had! Fresh yummy food and friendly service in a nice clean place! We will be back to try more!
Had this with Uber Eats. Delicious, fast, reasonably priced. Great portions.
Super delicious and tasty for a quick bite to eat. I got the chicken shawarma and I didn't hold it correctly and it fell apart. I ended up just tearing the wrap and scooping the chicken with it.
It's a little intimidating when the guy taking our orders isn't exactly engaging, he's not rude just very reserved.
I love the place is quiet and food is so delicieux. Lamp and chik3n more and more..i will com back much times...and freindly stuffff.
Uber Eats brought me a value meal. Absolute bomb! They wrapped it nicely so it was still hot! Great value! Delicious! Best gyro joint I've tried yet! Srsly thx!
I don't even like Gyros and i swear this place is just so amazing... huge portions of meat... just one of the best lunches around hands down.
Good food with fair prices...freindly stuff ..very good service, try their mix shawarma it's amazing...
Great staff and great food.
Good food - subtle flavor of spices in gyro. Good service. I would recommend to try for sure.
I love this place. I come visit my family in Mukilteo every year and always look forward to coming here. Great food, low and reasonable prices, small and homely atmosphere. 10/10
The food is always great. The people who work here are polite and the atmosphere is relaxed. I'd recommend anyone to eat here
Comparatively speaking to what we have in this area for gyros, this is my favorite. I've come here for years and order the gyro sandwich every time. Give it a try!
I love the food, this place is right next to my work so it's my go to spot for lunch. They're very affordable and make great food.
Wonderful food! We have been looking for good Mediterranean food in Everett. We had uber eats deliver and we were extremely happy! Such great food.
Awesome food! It's 8PM the Sunday before the Solar eclipse 2017 and they were so popular before we came in that most of their ready meats (except gyro) were sold out. Spinakopita was awesome too.
Next time I'll try something else on the menu.
Customer Service was excellent.. best gyros around ...lamb shawarma plate is amazing ..
Don't forget the Baklava...YUM-OH! The Gyros are more than enough and fresh lettuce every time-quality ingredients!
The cashier is always friendly, and when I didn't hv the right change, let.me slide for a few cents.
My daughter and I come here for just about every lunch we end up sharing because no one else likes Gyros in our circle! We can't seem to find another place to go!
I was visiting Everett with my husband on business. Since his job occupied him over the dinner hour I decided I wanted Chicken souvlaki or Schwarma. I'm working the Weight Watchers program and knew that those dishes were healthy and in my point range. Gyro House popped up on Yelp as nearby and rated well, so I decided to give it a try. It was a little difficult to notice while driving, so my tip to you is to look for La Hacienda at the corner of 7th & East Everett Mall Way. Gyro House is right next door! I received a friendly greeting when I walked in, chatted with a knowledgeable young man about the menu and learned that they are well known for their authentic gyro meat. I'm very sorry I didn't get his name because he deserves a shout out! I decided to forego the chicken and ordered a jumbo Gyro and an appetizer of Baba Ghanoush. I was impressed with the prices, quick service and generous portions. The pita bread was pillow soft and warm. My gyro was overflowing with meat and just the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. Honestly, it was perfection. The Baba Ghanoush was deliciously seasoned and had an excellent balance of chunks and creaminess. While I was enjoying my dinner, several customers came in to pick up take-out orders. Everyone was served with a smile. I should note that the portions were so generous that I took about 1/2 my gyro and 3/4 of the Baba Ghanoush back to my hotel. I enjoyed them for lunch the next day! I had hoped to go back another night to try the chicken, but time did not allow that. I promise that the next time I'm in Everett, I'll be stopping by Gyro House for the Chicken Schwarma.
Best Gyros around. Falafels & baba ghanouj are good too. Dalmas, hummus and baklavas are just okay.
Customer Service was excellent. The jumbo gyro comes with a lot extra gyro which is great! The tzatziki wasn't the best. The dolmades was great! & drinks are a little overpriced for a can of soda
After a year my wife and I decided to give this place a second chance. It seems whatever members of the staff that were there before are no longer there, or at the very least did a much better job. Food was good at a very reasonable price. We will continue to go back barring we have any experiences like that first time.
The best food
Very flavorful food for a great price. Came in around 11:30am and no line - food came out pretty quickly. Lots of gyro options (normal, chicken, falafel), fries, salads, appetizers, etc.
The hot sauce is highly recommended. Additionally, the falafel is very flavorful.
Everett's Best Gyros! I have to stop here everytime I get cravings and always feel very satisfied. Their value meals (gyro, fries, and drink for $6.49) and other meal combos are at a reasonable price. The salads are one of a kind - got the mediterranean zing hard to copy! I need to try their baklava and soup next time. The owner and staff are sweet and friendly. I hope this place will stick around for a very long time as I can't find many places that have it all.
Best Gyro's I've had in the Seattle area period! Even their fries were good! Will be going back there.
Amazing gyros. I only go here or Aladin's in Seattle. I love the lamb
We are always looking for good hole-in-the wall restauants and this definitely fit the bill! The food is incredible and the waitstaff is exceptional. I can't even count how many times we have come here--it is our tried and true "I don't want to make lunch/dinner and I don't want to spend a fortune going out to a restaurant" restaurant. Gyro House is definitely worth trying if you are in or around Everett.
i'm no gyro expert but i thought that that they were awesome here. It had tons of meat! i mean literally my pita was falling apart because of how much meat was in it! And the people there are so friendly. The menu is also very big, it has falafals, platters, kabobs and even tuna sandwiches. I will definitely be back soon. =)
The food here is great. The gyros are very flavorful and very generously filled. The tzatziki sauce is really nicely done as well. I usually get the 'Gyro Value Meal', which is a gyro, fries, and a soda all for $8- a great deal. Their falafel is also really tasty. The service is great and super fast.
omg! just finishing off the BEST gyro in history- I couldn't wait to write the review!!! I am still wiping the tzatziki off my fingers (and my files!) I grew up eating gyros as I worked in a Gyro restaurant when I was a kid. After living in California for 20 years I never found a place I really liked and quit eating them. Now freshly relocated back to the Pacific North West my NEED for a gyro has increased on a daily basis. I tried this place on a whim after not being able to locate the other gyro place I was looking for. SO GLAD I found the Gyro House! Not only were they extremely nice with only 30 minutes for lunch (including travel time) I got nervous we wouldn't make it back in time. Not only was our food ready in under 10 minutes with the place was full to the rafters when we got there with a lunch crowd the food was amazing and the brothers handed it off with a smile and thanked us profusely for coming in. Tell your friends if you want an AWESOME meal for a reasonable price. JUMBO gyro is the way to go! I will be going back (again and again and again!!!)
Yum. Just had a chicken Shawerma sandwich from here and it was excellent. It was overflowing with delicious chicken. I can't wait to try some other items on their menu. We will be back.
Best gyros I have had in a long time. A little more to them than your average gyro place, meaning it's not just naan, meat/falafel, onions and tzatziki. Great combo prices to get some yummy fries and a soda with it, too!
My husband and I have been here more than a few times, and we love the service as well as the food! Great dessert as well!
I'm going on record as saying this is the best gyro I have had to date. Other places I have tried are Santorini's in downtown Kirkland and Gyro Delight I think it is called on 196th in Lynnwood(I was not impressed at all with this one). From the reviews I have read, it sounds like Mr.Gyro in Greenwood is a great place too so I need to try that next.
The gyro: Soft and fresh pita, well seasoned and tender meat, tasty tzatiki(sp) sauce and the feta cheese makes it great. I think I've been there 4 times now and always order the gyro. I saw a menu item for chicken samosas so maybe I should try that next.
The one thing that kind of sucks about this place is the location in Everett by the mall. The neighborhood isn't the greatest and the clientele sometimes looks a little shady/thuggish, but that's not the restaurant's fault. Kind of reminds me of living dangerously at Ezell's or Philly's best down on 23rd AVE in Seattle... lol.
Give this place a shot, I like the food and will be going back.
I've been hearing alot about this place so had to try it, I had the Chicken Shawarma which is basically a chicken gyro and it was delicious. I love that the red onions were cooked and not raw, and the tzatziki sauce was very good. I only gave it 4 stars due to the location and clientele. The smoke shop next door obviously brings in some shady characters and their staring made me feel uncomfortable. Might be a different experience if the boyfriend was with me. The workers were very friendly and I will for sure be back. Only $6 for my sandwhich and it was huge~
These folks make great food--and the prices are really reasonable. While the Gyros are the main attraction, Don't forget to try their Baklava or a Meze platter. It's some of the best I've had.
Nice friendly people, good food, good prices.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place, the food rocks and the owners are the best. The pitas are unearthly delicious, what else can i say if you want good Greek food this is the place, dont let the way the outside looks fool you, Kostas is very pretty but the food sucks this place dont look so hot but the food cant be beat. I will give you a little secret, buy a couple of extra pitas to keep in your fridge they are great warmed up with some pb&j for breakfast.
wow what a gyro, i got the jumbo gyro it was the best and the biggest i have had in a LONGGGG time. and it was cheap only 6.75 i think for the jumbo size. i will have to add this place to my frequent stops.
This place is great the workers are super friendly and the food is really good. They are also very fast even when they are busy. It is one of my favorite lunch spots to go for under $9 you get gyro fries and a drink.
Good food at a great value. Everything was fresh and the portions were very generous. We ate the combos and were able to feed our family of five for around $30. Will definitely be back, and will definitely try more menu items when we go.
Ive worked over 9 years just up the street from this place and finally decided to try it. Best Gyros Ive ever had. I ordered the Jumbo which has beef and the most perfect tasting lamb. Like its name it is very large and worth the 7 dollars. The pitas are fresh and the tzatziki sauce is perfectly spiced. The employees are very friendly. I would have given 5 stars but the atmosphere and location is not that great so I always get my food togo. Im hooked and think I will pick up a gyro today for lunch.
This Gyro house is amazing I have eaten Gyro all over the world and this Gyro are was the closest I have found in America to the way Gyro taste overseas. The prices at this restaurant are very good I actually go every Tuesday.
This place has the best gyros around. Great flavor and large servings. The only negative is the shady characters the come in and some that seem to work there but always polite. atmosphere not great but who cares, food is great!
I ordered the falafel and wow... It was excellent. Crispy on the outside. It tastes like chicken! Perfect place for vegetarians that have a hard time finding good places. And not to mention the sandwich was HUGE and at such a good deal at $5! This place is heaven sent. Will definitely be back and telling all of my friends about the place.
Underscore eclectic decor.
I believe I spent most of my time, whilst devouring their superbly priced gyro sandwich, trying to find the connection between the several dozen posters and decorations. They also have classical music playing. Turkish, Creole, Tranquility...
The service was fast and friendly, and the food was very reasonably priced. Only tried the gyro, but I will return to try the value meal (gyro + fries + drink for $6.49) and the sweet meal (gyro + dessert + drink for $6.99). And yes, they do have baklava.
I am only giving four stars because I believe the gyro sandwich was supposed to come with tomatoes, but mine did not.
Just returned from gyro house I ordered jumbo lamb gyro combo excellent very large portion tender and tasty. Fries crispy and hot. My wife ordered gyro plate came with rice and salad again bring your appetite very nice portion you will not go home hungry. People working were very nice. I will be back
First visit, chicken gyro and jumbo gyro (talk about extra meat!). Second visit, chicken gyro, regular gyro and a side of falafel. Third visit (yes, we are starting to have a problem here) two falafel sandwiches. The falafels are absolutely delicious, along with everything else, but those falafels... Everything is tasty. You can taste the different ingredients/spices. That home made type of taste. Yum! This is now our go to fast food. Great food and portions. So glad we decided that first day that we didn't care that it didn't look so great from the outside. We knew it had been there for a while, and that means it has withstood the ups and downs and that can only happen with good food! Delish.
I've been to this place a few times and I always leave a happy customer. As for ambiance, there is little to none but the food more than makes up for that! As for cost, it is somewhere between McDonald's and Red Robin...about $10 for a meal but well worth it. The gyro's are HUGE. No, I am not kidding, you will be full.
My only complaint..I asked for no onions...and they gave me onions. Yuck.
But even with that, it was still amazing and I will be back for more when I get a craving for a GOOD gyro.
Mediterranean food is not as common as it should be, and when it is found it is often Americanized resulting in a sub par food. I am writing this review on my phone because I just finished a perfect gyro and baklava and could not wait to get home to write. You feel like you've walked into a foreign country rather than a ugly Seattle suburb. The atmosphere includes a foreign language I am not familiar with, decorations of the middle east, and American pop (haha). To put a cherry on the cake, the prices are ridiculously reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. You've gotta try it.
Best gyros in town! Everything is clearly authentic right down to the staff. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food. I wish this place had more recognition, I make sure to mention it to all my friends. No other gyro compares!
Food was great. The service was great and friendly. Very helpful in choices. Fast service. Great food. Sitting area too. Dif recommended
I love my fair share of greek food. While it's not my #1 gyro place, I gotta say this is definitely one of the ones high up on the list.
The food is delicious and they also give you a good amount of it. I've been to some places that charge a little more but give you little and this place is a great value for your money. The family that runs it is also very friendly and accommodating. If you're north of Seattle, this is a great place to get your gyro fix.
A tiny little restaurant tucked into the side of a strip mall right next to a smoke shop- I had a pretty good feeling from the get-go. I typically find great food at little hole in the wall places like this.
My order was pretty straightforward- Two regular sized gyros to go. As I waited, I checked out the rest of the menu.
They make a variety of typical greek specialties, but also offer things like turkish salad and shwarmas.
I am not experienced with shwarma, and I haven't ever tried it so I cannot speak to it's authenticity. The photos made it look very tasty though!
I got my food within ten minutes or so, and it was very reasonably priced. Lots of meat and the tzaziki sauce was ripe with garlic which I loved. My only gripe would be the lettuce on my gyro. It wasn't advertised in the description so it was a bit of a turn off. I will know next time to ask for no lettuce on my gyro.
I always get my gyros from gyro house. The gyros are a steal for the price and the flavors and tenderness of the beef and lamb are remarkable. They have great customer service and the cheapest prices in town for good Mediterranean food. restaurant is fairly clean with a large dining area, decorated with middle eastern art all over the walls. would definitely recommend everyone to check this cafe out!
I've had weird Greek food cravings lately, and Gyro House definitely hit the spot!
Got the Chicken Shawarma, and even though most American Shawarma is closer to gyro it was delicious none the less!
The guys working were really nice and even gave me a free soda when I decided I wanted one after my sandwich.
The bathroom could use some tidying up but that's all places haha. The rest of the store seemed fine, plus you can see right back into the kitchen where they make everything if you worry about that kinda thing.
I'll definitely come back!
Ultimate favorite Gryos spot ever!!! I love this place. My family and I have been coming here for years. The staff are the friendliest and the food is always awesome. Also the prices are very good.
Gyro lovers REJOICE!
I have tried Gyros throughout King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties (and probably some other counties that I can't remember). I have driven an hour out of my way, on occasion, when someone told me about how good this Gyro or that Gyro was always to be left disappointed. I have tried them at fairs, festivals and many, many restaurants.
This is hands down the BEST Gyro that I have found in this area.
It is the ONLY Gyro that satisfies my Gyro craving since I moved here over 5 years ago!
The Pita is perfect. It is loaded with meat and if you get the Jumbo you need a big appetite to finish it!
I am so happy I finally found a place not with just a good enough Gyro but one that has an EXCELLENT Gyro. I am lucky to live near it because I would drive over an hour to get one of these bad boys!
Generally good, the only reason I didn't give five stars is because lately they've shorten the size of the falafel, the amount of Tzatziki Sauce the put on the gyros and falafel appetizers and the assortment of drinks they offer is not the best. Prices are OK
This place is kind of a hole in the wall, but man the food is excellent. If you like authentic Mediterranean/middle eastern food, this is the place to go for a cheap lunch. They have an extensive menu. Great greek salads and gyros. I just moved to the area and have been to this place 3 times already. Very inexpensive and a great value.
Nice joint. They have excellent gyro sandwiches. This is one of my must-visit place when I am in town. The guys are very friendly and the service is prompt. It a good place for a quick lunch.
I'm usually not a big fan of Mediterranean food but a few of my friends said this place has good gyros so I went with them one day and tried. I think it was the owner but don't know but they were very nice and the food was great. After some bad experiences with some places near my apartments, I checkout places online now to make sure they are on the up and up, and this place was very good. Great food, good prices, good service and near my place. Great combination!
Best Gyro ever, miss this place. The bread is delicious, you get your money's worth. I always get the lamb sandwich.
The photos that other yelpers posted are accurate, they DO give you piles of gyro meat. Very flavorful, tender, and seasoned perfectly, there's probably more meat then lettuce and onions in the pita =)
The lentil soup was okay, I was expecting more of a rich morraccan tomatoey broth but it was basically similar to split pea soup which I dislike. The greek salad are always well portioned but the dressing is a bit odd, i think maybe home made? It wasn't bad though, but different in a good way!
Fries are fries, deep fried to a crispy finish! Don't be afraid to ask for more tzaziki sauce, the staff are very friendly!
Overall, best gyro I've had!
This hole in the wall place has better food than it shows. The place is out dated and some of the decorations have nothing to do with gyros. But you wouldn't bring a date to a gyro place, would you?!
The food on the other hand, amongst the best I've tasted. I love Mr. Gyros and this place is a close second. The gyros are huge! They certainly don't skimp on the meat. I wish I did have a little more of the cucumber sauce, but that's personal preference. The meat was tender and well seasoned. You can tell it was fresh.
Awesome place to satisfy your gyro craving!
I've been going to the Gyro House for a few years now. They are delicious YES, we are hooked, and the Jumbos are loaded with meat. But however, they don't use feta - feta is a crumble cheese and they have a shredded that is more like a mozzarella. And the tzatziki is a little bland. The salads are good, the house dressing is a little like an Italian tho, rather than a Greek dressing. The Greek fries are good, but again wish there was crumbled feta - and the Greek fry sauce should be served with it.
So in conclusion, my husband and I love this place for the bang for your buck, we go there almost weekly for A jumbo gyro. But there are a few things they could alter. And as far as service goes, they are very nice and make you feel welcome.
Best Gyro I've had in the area. Falaffel is really good too. Fair Prices.
I was pleasantly surprised! Don't be fooled by the outside! Great food, we ordered the gyros and fries. Both were delicious. The service was friendly and food came out fast. The owner (I think it was the owner) was very generous and came over with fries and a juice box, complimentary, for my son. I will be back for sure.
Wow I really liked the jumbo gyro. Had really tasty lamb meat. Also had good amount if feta cheese, it was filling, and the tzatziki sauce was delish. Also the owner is usually always there it seems, and he is super friendly. He even gave me free bottle water. Next time I'm looking for food up in Everett I'll remember this place! This is definelty worth trying.
Great Gyros and awesome Greek fries! Decent prices as well. The service was fast, but could probably smile once in a while. Been there two or three times so far and they're pretty consistent.
Employees are great, greeted with a hello and a goodbye with a smile , food is excellent. Their Greek fries and gyros are delicious and are worth what you pay for!!
OMG love this place and they were so nice and the food so good i really recommend this place
Update: tried the lamb shawarma for the first time! It didn't disappoint- so good! I could probably eat two but I'd have to be wheeled out of there cause the servings are pretty big! I'll be back again to eat lamb shawarma! Yuuuum! ;)
Great gyro, super reasonable lunch menu offering and fast?! There's nothing more you can possibly ask for, is the decor and place a little old or in a shady area... Yeah sure. But but... It's amazing food so you shouldn't complain just try it out and enjoy yourself some well deserved Greek food from some nice people.
GYRO GYRO GYRO I MADE YOU OUT OF CLAY THESE GYROS ARE HALAL WHICH IS VERY MUCH OKAY
Recently, I've been on a bit of a gyro kick which is weird because I'm not really a huge Greek food fan. The other day I wrote about Gyros 2 Go which I liked quite a bit in spite of my Grecian deficiency and so, craving another gyro, I decided to hit up Gyro House to see how they compared.
And, well, you can't go wrong either way, honestly.
Gyro House's falafel are definitely better: they're smaller, lighter, and spicier. Gyros 2 Go has falafel that are a lot more like hushpuppies: big, round, and dense. Both are fantastic so it's really a matter of personal taste.
In my Gyros 2 Go post, I complained that the gyro meat was a little bit dry. Gyro House does not have that problem; the meat in my gyro here was juicy, delicious, and undeniable. However, Gyros 2 Go's gyro meat was more flavorful and interesting. So G2G has better flavor but it was a bit dry. Gyro House's meat wasn't as intensively spiced but it was slightly thicker and definitely more juicy.
The rice? About the same. No complaints either way. I think Gyro House might have the better pita, too. Hard to say.
On the other hand, I think G2G might have the better tzatziki sauce. Again, a few more spices in action which make it more interesting but, and this is completely unheard of from me, I found myself dumping extra tzatziki in my Gyro House gyro because I just couldn't get enough of the stuff.
I guess ultimately you can't go wrong either way. I think overall the scales are tipped slightly in Gyro House's favor because of the juiciness of the meat and the superior falafel. G2G wins in the spice category (and I mean flavor, not heat, mind you). Gyro House also feels more authentic. However, the people working at G2G seem to be more friendly. Gyro House has a more extensive menu including schwarma.
So, yeah. Go to both places. You shouldn't come away disappointed no matter what but I think that Gyro House just might be the better place. I'm going to give G2G another go, though, before I know for certain.
STAY TUNED, YELPLINGS!!!!!!!!
My first five star review. Quality food, good service. The gyro is seasoned wonderfully. The tzatziki is quite good. Put this together on a nice fresh warm pita, and crisp fresh veggies, with large portions that are delicious, and that gets you five stars! Even the salad is tasty.
The dessert gets it's own paragraph. The baklava is among the best I've ever had. They have a few different kinds, including pistachio. If you are calorie counting, this might be the only thing you get to eat all day. Very dense, and yet still flakey in all the right places. They have them in rolled style too. So delicious!
My favorite Gyro place will always be Aladdins at UW, so when I got out of school, I thought my Gyro days were over unless I was near campus...well, thank you Gyro House Cafe for being my substitute close by!
Just the regular Gyro sandwich is GIANT. There's actually too much meat (who says that?!?!)! Flavors are good, prices are ok and the guys working here are nice.
Will I be back? you betcha!
Just went there with the girl and I'd have to say I had a fantastic experience overall! I came in at night time and was warmly greeted by the staff and to be honest I was a bit sketchy about the food since I've never tried gyros before... I ordered the combo plate filled with a variety of meat with rice that came with hummus and ranch, the meat tasted average but what really caught my attention was the falafels ( I had to ask the waiter what it was ), and I knew I had to have more which resulted in another two falafel sandwiches! I don't know what it is about Greek food but this is the first place I've tried them at and with the warm atmosphere created by the staff and other customers like myself I'll have to explore the culture a bit more here!
Lots of places to choose from to get Greek food in the area but this place is the best, great prices and amazing food make this place a must try for great food.
The falafel sandwich was wonderful! My daughter loved the kids meal. Hubby had the jumbo gyro. He said he wished he had not got something so big, but he ate it all! The hummus plate was great.
I would recommend this to friends.
Most Amazing Gyros and Chocolate Baklava EVER!! They also have a location on Northgate Way in Seattle just East of the I-5 exit (across from Mattress Discounter's and Starbucks, next door to Taco del Mar). I have been going to these resturants for 8 years now and have never been disapointed. If you like Feta get the Jumbo Gyro.
When I'm in Everett and jonesing for a gyro this is one of the two places I'll head out to. Once I got the Big Meal which was a gyro, lentil soup and a salad. Way too much food but if I hadn't ordered it I wouldn't have discovered just how amazing the lentil soup was. I'm not a huge fan of lentils but this was so great I might have been converted.
Big fat juicy sammich! The kind where the juice runs down your arm if not careful. They have a very reasonable special gyro/fries/pop..
That alone has pleased me so much that the only other item i have tried is the Baklava! This is authentic, filling and reasonable
PLUS there are some amazing looking men running the place!
Hands down! Best gyro I've very had. Can't get enough of them.. I've been here twice in one week and if I could I would go everyday.. No kidding.. The two young men working in the restaurant are very polite and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family..
We have been going here for about 6 months now. Always fresh and full of flavor. I can call it in and pick it up on my way home. It's small on the inside and reminds me of a hole in the wall, but the food and service by far outweigh the anything negative. The chicken shawarma is to die for! So much chicken! Add some hummus and dessert for the full deal.
Amazing gyros! The best in town. Amazing salads and their baklava is amazing too. They are always fast and friendly and it's definitely worth fighting the tight parking for. I would order tour gyro without the onions though, they put alot in there!!
Huge Huge Gyro
I was craving gyros so i went on yelp and based on the reviews i figured this place would be a good place to ease my hunger. I decided to order their jumbo gyro to see how big it was and I was not disappointed...it is piled high with lamb meat oozing out of it! I barely can put my mouth around it because its so huge! I also ordered their hummus, which they make themselves and it was pretty cute how it came out because they manage to make a happy face w/the tomato & olives. The portion on the hummus is really big too. My eyes were definitely way bigger then my stomach because i could only eat a small portion of my hummus after i killed my jumbo (gigantic) gyro.
Great price for such a fullfilling flavorful gyro! I'll definitely come back here again. Also, i thought the guys (brothers) were really nice. Fast friendly service!
The Gyro House is one of the best Gyro spots in Everett, if not the best! I've only tried the gyro meal, but the fries are always great, the gyro has tons of meat, and it's ready by the time you choose a drink and a seat.
I have been here a few times and so far, delicious. I will let you know that I got the Gyro the first time and it became my favorite so I can only vouch for their gyro. Super delicious! The most recent time I came in, I ordered the gyro and it was skimpy on the meat, unlike the previous times. Still really good. The bread it comes in is kind of soft crispy (hard to explain) trust me, its perfect. The tzatziki sauce was perfect, not to much, not too little. Maybe next time I go in I will try the chicken swarma.
This is my new to go gyro place! :]
Although the food didn't come out as pretty as I thought it would, the gyro was supverb. I'll be definitely be coming back. And I also love the affordable prices.
I seldom give out five stars, just because I figure no matter how good a place is, there is always room for improvement ...so there should be room for an improved rating if they manage to up their game somehow.
Well, screw it....these guys deserve five stars. Their eponymous staple is sublime .... a gyro filled with perfectly season meat, Tzatziki sauce, and fresh onions. Delicious, and quite the value at around $5 . However, I never order that item. Instead, I order the jumbo gyro , which has twice the meat for an extra $2 . So much meat , it can't possibly stay in it's pita bread wrapping. Easy solution : order an extra pita bread ($1) , and transfer half that meat into the second pita, thus creating TWO delicious gyros . You see where I'm going here ? One for now, one for LATER (or for a friend) . If you are crazy about that delicious, cucumber based Tzatziki sauce that is a trademark of a great gyro , order an extra cup for .50 , and slather it on.
My mouth is watering right now, just thinking about this place.
The staff is really friendly and efficient, the food is excellent and a tremendous value..... all systems go !!
Consistently Amazing, from all of the flavors in the meat, to the hot and delicious pita bread- every component I have tried has left a tongue full of bliss.
I've been going to this restaurant for years now and they consistently give me great food. I am "mostly" vegan, but this is the one place I can't seem to give up meat. Their meat is so flavorful & juicy...omg YUM! My favorite is the gyro plate. I order it with extra bread & make myself gyros out of it. My only complaint would be that they used to give you a nice Greek side salad in its own container with this awesome red pepper dressing, but now they just give you a tiny little salad that is always soggy when it's "to-go" because they put it in with the meat & it wilts. They also got rid of that red pepper dressing. Boooo to that, but it's still one of my fav places so they still warrant 5 stars. Oh, let's not forget about the baklava. YUMMMMM!!!!! The people that work there are also very nice. The meat is all Halal too in case that matters to you.
I work fairly close by and I love this place. The food always tastes fresh and you feel like you are enjoying something healthy too. They have been there over 20 years...they are obviously doing something right. For me...this is a "must experience" place if you haven't. I was surprised by the low reviews...not my experience at all.
Super friendly service! I was greeted hello and goodbye with a smile. Delicious and expertly crafted gyros. Hot, soft, and delicious break pita bread filled with fresh veggies and lamb and beef meat was nothing short of amazing. And the tzatiki sauce was fresh and flavorful. I got a great sized gyro for the low price of $5.50. I will be returning to get a gyro meal that comes with fries and a drink for $7. Best Greek restaurant I have experienced.
Fantastic food and very friendly service. What more can we expect!!
I was here for lunch with my wife today and we got a combo plate since we wanted to try a few things. The lamb was very flavorful, albeit a little over cooked. The chicken, rice, salad, humus, pita, tatziki and falafals were all absolutely perfect. I honestly enjoyed every bit of the meal. The portion was easily enough for the 2 of us.
We then tried the plain baklava and the pistachio baklava. They were both amazingly fresh and very rich. Just be warned that they are a lot more filling than they look so don't over-order those.
I'd definitely love to go back here next time I'm in that area.
This place is convenient and quick. Food is good. Not the best gyro. Jumbo has alot of meat. A bit pricey than other Gyro places. But overall tasty food.
For me, Best is tht this is Halal Food. Really hard to find Halal food around Everett.
The staff is extremely friendly, the food is very authentic best of all the pricing is outstanding for the quality of food and quality. I definitely recommend trying it sincerely Mickey Mr unique deals LLC
They are the nicest people there... that always makes for a good start! But the Food is Delicious! Love the Gyros... and the Tatziki Sauce to die for... great garlic humus, And the dinner plates are soooo good.... TRY IT!
Great place for Gyro's at a very fair price with quick service. Their deserts are excellent and staff is very polite. I will always go here when I have that need for a good gyro.
Amazing Gyros and the back lava was amazing.
If your looking. For that hole in the wall diamond in the ruff. Wow! I would recommend this place to anyone.
Consistently delicious food. Greek fries are the best. The place itself is worn down , but don't let it deter you!
Delicious chicken shawarma gyro, lots of meat and good, fresh tasting sauce. The beef gyro my husband got was huge! Quick service with a smile. Definitely will come back.
Great place :) Nice and friendly stuff, delicious meals, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
i liked this resturant ..every thing is just perfect, the food ,the stuff, beside it's price is quite reasonable
Great place :) Nice and friendly stuff, delicious meals, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Delicious food, quick service, not too expensive and lovely atomosphere!! I had their falafel wrap with the malt beverages they have inside as well as fries. Took my partner there and she also agrees that it was a great altogether package. Will be returning!!
We come here regularly. Very friendly staff and always delicious food!!!
Hadn't been here in years, so glad I found my way back. It was fantastic, can't believe the amount of meat. Could have used more sauce, their was so much meat. But I know next time to order a side. No complaints here! Good prices, offer combo with beverage and fries, but just had the sandwich.
To quote an LL Cool J song from the 90's, "doin' it and doin' it and doin' it well."
It's been 3 years since my last review and I'm glad to say these guys are still pumping out grade A grub. It seems like they might be a little nickel and dimey on additional items, which is a shame, but it's still great food. And, they still have the killer baklava.
Keep it up!
Very friendly service and great food. I always get a gyro and small Greek salad combo for $7.99. Probably could just eat half because I always leave there stuffed. One of my favorite places to eat.
Good food and a quaint little atmosphere. My family love to go for a good quick meal. Always good friendly service
I have come here for years and years, so freaking good every time. Its the place I reccomend people to go to when they are having a gyro craving, fresh and delicious. They are really nice and menu is reasonably priced. The Jumbo Gyro, GET IT! And also the baklava of course... mmmmm
I was craving mediteranean for lunch and always wondered about this place. Finally decided to give it a shot. I ordered a gyro plate which was really yummy and totally hit the spot. The lamb/beef gyro meat was very tender and perfectly seasoned. I've never had falafel anywhere else aside from my own. Their falafel was ok. It lacked in flavor and I like my falafel more fine in texture. The hummus was blah.. When eaten with everything it's fine but I didn't care for it on its own. I do wish they would give my tzatziki. But I would definitely come back again.
It was my first time trying this place, though the food got a little cold in the 5 minutes or less it took to get to my house it was still delicious. The meat was well cooked in my gyro and I appreciated hoe full it was. The Greek fries were also delicious!
This place seriously has the best gyros! And at a great price! Gyros, skinny/crispy French fries, and a water or some kind of soft drink for 6.95$ plus tax! The meat was tender and moist, and seasoned extremely well.
This place was definitely authentic and had a pretty extensive menu including Greek pastries. I would definitely stop here if you are looking for a quick bite!
Its everything I want a Gyro to be. Meat is plentiful and AMAZING. 10/10 will return. Also, the staff is super nice and welcoming.
Today was the first time I had visited in over 14 yrs (I was told the new owners bought it 5 yrs ago) and was glad. These guys have their menu down to a science - multiple simple sandwiches and salad offerings, Kababs, a handful of tasty sauces and pita bread appetizers... Genius!
Went for a "late lunch" around 2:45-ish. Place was empty and there were no "hoodie" or employees visible. Was delighted to order and receive food wrapped up to go in under 10 minutes.
The gyro meat was super fresh. Loved the pita! And the regular gyro was STUFFED with ingredients! Prices were spot-on affordable (under $7). The restaurant was super clean and the young man who took my order was very friendly. He even brought out the bag of food directly to me when it was ready.
Oh, the front case has pan-fulls of delicious looking Baklava... (A must buy for next time!)
I would gather it's best to arrive well before closing based on the other reviews. Keep up the good eats!
The portions here are good. You can get a gyro for under $7. Very tasty. The jumbo gyro is almost challenge size. I usually start by eating the meat with a spoon.
Other than homemade, the spanokopita here is the best I think I've had. Not too flaky where its messy and still cooked inside without being doughy. Good flavors.
The greek fries did not disappoint! Gyro meal was great..and for the right price. Ill be back for sure.
jumbo value meal with greek fries
Worth the money! Not a high end restaurant, but great food for the value..
Awesome food just tried this place the other day. 8 bucks for a gyro fries and a drink!
Large portions of authentic Mediterranean food. Good size menu with vegetarian options. The atmosphere is what you would expect for the price.
One of the best places in the area , they serve very good drinks and the falafel is so good
Lotsa meat on their gyros. Fresh. Best out of the 5 gyros made in the area.
I've been eating here for years. Even after ownership has transferred hands the taste and service are still excellent. Thank you Gyro House!
I have eaten I for the last 20 years and it has always been a great experience and value. I appreciate and value other's reviews when I look up new places, but I have learnt something. If someone posts extremely negative reviews with references of taste that are not valueable and lacking objectivity...it warrants looking at their other reviews. This is an honest business that has been around for ~26 years and while I don't know the family personally, know them well from my once to twice a month visits. I routinely bring co-workers and customers alike here for a casual lunch and have never been disappointed.
